SUMMARY REPORT – JULY MISSION UGANDA
October 11, 2025God’s Mercy Community School
January 6, 2026
on Friday the 3rd , October 2025 a very bad windy rains have fallen and demolished one of the two buildings and blown all the building materials to a distance range of 10 meters to 100 meters away from where the building had been built.
In this photo you can see that only the desks/ furniture were left where the demolished building has been.
However, we are so grateful to God for having saved the lives of the children and staff members who were not on site during the problematic rain.
The school is Left with a very urgent financial need of replacing the affected building if possible during this very weekend before the school children can resume
their normal studies on Monday, 6th October 2025.
This school is owned by one of our VHC facilitators; Ap. Margaret Mwebaza as a means of giving back to the community which was lacking a single school.
As SHFF we have supported the school with $300 today as a rescue for a common cause, this is the last term of the school calendar year and no kid should miss school for even a day!
Thank you to everyone who has generously contributed to saving our village community school! Your support is a powerful testament to the strength of teamwork for a common good. The children are filled with hope and excitement as they actively participate in the rebuilding efforts, carrying timber to help with the roofing and reduce labor costs. Just a short time ago, they had lost all hope of having a place to learn. Thanks to your donations, their spirits are lifted, and they now have classrooms to run to with joy. Your generosity has sent a profound message of care and solidarity, restoring not just a school but the dreams of an entire community. The happiness radiating from these children is a beautiful reminder of the impact we can make together. Thank you for giving and for bringing the school back to life!
You can visit our Facebook for more photos and videos on restoring the school. The last 2 photos shows how the school was before the strong winds and rain
