Christmas at Heart to Heart Abandoned Kids Home
January 8, 2025This year’s VHC was unique as it climaxed with a mass wedding, which was a request for consideration from the Rakai 2023 VHC by the pastors’ wives who attended.
This started with a bridal shower on Friday evening for the 8 brides, a memorable night at the hotel, a great breakfast and make sessions in the morning to make the best brides.
Team travelled with brides to Tororo Nagongera in a coaster, welcomed by a brass band and matched through the streets before getting into church to meet the grooms.
Officially wedded were; Owori Moses & Adong Juliet, Mayiza Patrick & Nyapendi Dorothy, Olowo Charles & Nyafwono Robina, Bogere Fulgensio & Akech Scovia, Odwera Mark & Nyakecho Rose, Opio Silas & Athio Melab, Obbo Pius & Nyawere Agnes, Onyango Charles & Akumu Dinah.
After taking vows, they were all treated to a reception where they shared lunch, cake and each couple recieved a gift from SHFF; plates, cups, glasses, spoons & knives.
Each groom & bride recieved a personalized gift if undergarments, lotions, sprays, roll ons among others.
They also each recieved extra 2 cakes to share with family on their private receptions organized.
The mass wedding was fully funded by SHFF through its donors & well wishers. The church fees, gowns, changing dresses, suits, shoes, jewerally, feeding were all fully funded; Glory to God
